Belize by Bus

I travel nearly exclusively by bus.  The buses in Belize can get crowded for sure, but I enjoy the breeze from the always-open windows.  The scenery never disappoints.

Remember that time we were on a field trip and we all had to get out of the bus to allow it to cross this little bridge?
One of the things that strikes me about the view from the bus window is how much open space there is.
Remember that time we were headed to training and none of the work partners wanted to go because "the city was flooded"? They were right.

Bus etiquette here is an art.  Also, there are an infinite number of stops.  If you are on a bus that is not explicitly marked "express", prepare to stop every few yards.
Love always,
Jess
